Several interesting medieval tomb slabs and inscriptions, as well as fragments of sculpture, can be seen attached to the walls of the loggia. These slabs were once laid in the floor, as can be seen from the wear that they have suffered. Other slabs with epigraphs are ancient, and were found in the excavations. There are also three large 16th and 17th century papal inscription granting indulgences.
